In this section, you’ll collaborate with the apprentices on the iOS and testing teams to build an app from scratch. One of the important parts of our job is making sure that the Android and iOS apps are on the same page for each release. Collaborating on this app will help you practice working with other teams to achieve a unified goal.
We’ll be collaborating with the iOS team to determine app requirements, and then you will plan how you will implement it and ensure that you’re on the same page as the iOS apprentice. Once you finish planning the app, you can begin writing code. Throughout your development process, you can work with your mentor on any questions you have. You’ll also meet regularly with the iOS apprentice to discuss any issues that come up and to confirm that there are minimal discrepancies between your product.
When you have parts of your app that are functional, you can meet with the test apprentice. Be sure to describe the intended behavior of the feature and how they can test it.
After both teams have a functioning app, you will participate in a UAT meeting where you will demo your app and the other teams will confirm that it is working as intended.
