We’re working to modernize the internet solutions technical stack. These are our basic tools and operating details.
Communication
- Slack is our primary text based communication platform.
- Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and Google Meet are our video based communication platform options. Listed in order of widest access across teams to least amount of access.
Collaboration
- Microsoft Office365 and Google Workspace both provide options for email, text editing, spreadsheets and presentations. Listed in order or widest possible access across teams to least access.
Calendar

Code Versioning
- GitHub is our primary platform for code versioning and contribution.
Knowledge
- Obsidian is used to store our team knowledge base. It can be overwhelming at first, but it is the starting point for all of our knowledge.
Requirements
- A valid GitHub account that can access the Banno GitHub Organization
- basic .gitconfig
- Obsidian application

Workflow
- Jira is the our primary team based work management platform. Each individual is encouraged to track smaller projects and tasks as they see fit.
Storage and Shared Files
Microsoft One Drive and Google Drive both provide options for system backup. Any files or folders that are not stored in GitHub should be stored in one of these cloud options. We will not backup your data and we will not recover your data. Store it on the cloud!
