Operations Onboarding

Welcome to JH Digital!

WE’RE EXCITED TO BE ADDING YOU TO OUR TEAM! WE HOPE TO MAKE THE ONBOARDING PROCESS AS SMOOTH AS POSSIBLE, SO WE’VE PUT THIS DOC TOGETHER AS A WAY TO HELP MITIGATE PAIN POINTS THAT COME ALONG WITH ALL NEW POSITIONS.

A Little Bit About Us

Banno was initially a startup company that was acquired by Jack Henry in 2014. Culture is HUGE here! We’re very fortunate to have extremely talented and intelligent people working here. As an implementation coordinator/technical support representative for the Banno product, you will interact with almost all of the Digital teams. You’re joining us during an exciting time of growth and maturity. To better acclimate yourself with Banno and our culture, we highly suggest checking out “How we work”

Glance At The Next Few Weeks

Your first week you’ll be completing your new employee orientation training. When this is done, there is additional training for a corporate-wide system called jSource that you’ll also need to complete. Team members will show you an overview of both the implementation and support processes, and the tools used by each team.

Slack

Slack is what we use for inter-office chat. You’ll want to make sure and join the team-implementation and team-support channels. There will be others you’ll want to join, but this is a good starting place. The org-prod-mgmt channel is a great place to ask questions. By asking questions in a central channel, it gives multiple people the opportunity to weigh in, and others can learn too by seeing the responses. Also! Microsoft Teams (Implementation and Support)

Chat with other Jack Henry associates outside of Banno. The greater JHA organization recently migrated to the Office 365 platform which has introduced the MS Teams platform that is much more similar to slack. This is primarily needed to engage external from our business unit. For most day-to-day chat you will be using Slack :)
